Boy wears X-RATED shirt with McDonald’s slogan “I’m lovin’ it” to school
An embarrassed mother posted an apology after she accidentally sent her little boy to elementary school in an X-rated t-shirt, which was clearly not safe for children’s eyes.
Shelly McCullar’s son Anthony wore a shirt that the family got as a gift from a friend. He took the t-shirt out of the bag and wore to Travis Elementary School in Pampa, Texas, without her mother ever seeing the shirt with an X-rated logo on it.
She was in shock when he got home wearing the t-shirt which had pairs of opening legs on it with a McDonald’s slogan on it, ‘i’m lovin it.’ The logo was fashioned in a way that it looked like a knock-off of McDonald’s.
The innocent kid didn’t understand it a bit and simply thought that it was the normal McDonald’s branding.
Her mother shared Anthony’s cute explanation of his confusion.
I thought it was like McDonald’s!’ he said.
‘None of his teachers made any mention of it to him. They thought it was like McDonald’s too!’ Anthony said.
The mother also posted the apology because it was her job to keep an eye on such things.
‘Once again, my sincere apologies to the teachers and staff at Travis Elementary. I promise from now on to monitor what my kids are wearing! I had no idea Anthony wore this to school! Just to clarify, I would never let my kid wear something like this. A friend had given me some hand me down clothes for Anthony. I haven’t had the chance to completely go through them. I will tonight though!’ she said.
The post went viral and was viewed more than 55k times.
Even though it was an embarrassing situation, she saw the humorous side of it.
‘Through my embarrassment, I did lmao!’ she wrote.
She ended the post with the hashtags saying that she thought it was like the fast food chain’s log and not the golden arches.
