The biggest CHEVY SILVERADO is on the way next year
Biggest Silverado ever will be released to the market by Chevrolet along with the new trucks in the medium-duty truck segment in the year 2019.
This news got a lot of fans excited and got them anticipating the time when these will hit the market.
It was confirmed by the manufacturer that Class 4 and Class 5 trucks are named Silverado 4500 and Silverado 5500, which is similar to Ford’s way of branding under the same F-Series banners as its light and super duty pickups.
Chevrolet U.S. director of Commercial Product John Schwegman said in a statement, ‘We are earning new business because we have more solutions to help businesses grow.’
‘The Silverado 4500 and 5500 will stand out because we’ve designed the trucks around how customers work. They will be powerful, highly maneuverable and among the easiest trucks on the market to up-fit with specialized bodies, such as dump bodies, rollbacks, freight boxes and more.’
Complete details regarding the trucks will be given closer to their launch, which will take place anytime in fall of 2018. The stunning trucks will be available for purchase in both regular and crew cab configurations and provided with 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains with Allision transmissions and Chevy’s Duramax diesel engine, which has an exquisite rating at 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque in heavy-duty pickup configuration.
The car manufacturer has a range of low cab forward cab chassis trucks in Class 3-6, which in fact are remastered versions of Isuzu models, while the new trucks are a result of joint efforts with Navistar and the design is inspired by Chevrolet Kodiac, the beauty that went out of production way back in 2019.
Big trucks are not everyone’s cup of tea, but the people who like big vehicles mostly don’t buy any other type. The market response to the release will determine future manufacturing of these trucks.
