Woman arrested for using TASER to WAKE son for Easter Sunday
Easter is an Important Christian holiday, which is celebrated with the belief that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead. In the New Testament of the Bible, the resurrection is said to have occurred three days after the crucifixion.
Easter dates back to pre-Christian, pagan times and is associated with many traditions other than Christianity.
A teenager from Arizona got a very harsh punishment to celebrate the Easter. According to the local police department, his mother woke him up for Easter with a taser to his leg.
His mother, Sharron Dobbins, 40, was arrested by the police.
“I said, ‘Get up! It’s Jesus’ Day’” Dobbins told a local news station, KNXV. While the woman admits that she was holding the stun gun she only used it to warn her 16-year-old, Dobbins says, “I made the noise with the Taser, but I did not tase my son.”
Upon seeing two marks on her son’s leg, it was concluded that she was lying. Ironically she spent 12 hours of Easter Sunday in Jail. Her charges are one count of child abuse end intent to harm.
Surprisingly she told the local news that her son retaliated and threatened to call the police.
“You can call the police, UPS, DPS, whoever you want to call.” According to Dobbins, when police were on the phone, she told the dispatcher, “You need to be with Jesus right now.”
The mother later regretted her actions.
“I don’t think anything I did anything wrong because you’re supposed to put God first and that’s all I was trying to do is tell my kids to put God first.”
There should not be any compulsion regarding faith and this is simply too much cruel to digest, I’m glad that she got to see the consequence of being unwise in nature.
